A New Chapter Begins!

As of Friday, May 13, 2011, I have a college degree! I graduated from the University of Southern California and ended by four years living in Los Angeles, California - a city I grew to love since living there. Coming this fall, I will be beginning my four years of medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. While I am happy to be back home with my family, I do really miss my friends in California. Alas, I will just have to wait until they come visit me in the best State in the country!

Before I settle down in Dallas, though, I will be doing a bit of traveling... and I start today! First, I will be in Chicago to visit my friends Rad and Jenn from USC. Then, I will be off to Rome, Athens, and Istanbul until June 27th with my friend Marissa from USC. From June 27th until August 1st, I will be volunteering with the Missionaries of Charity (Mother Teresa's order) with Marissa and our friend Nik also from USC. Mother Teresa has been a huge influence and guide to me in college, and I cannot think of a better service for me to do this summer. I only ask for your prayers for myself, the Sisters, and for the people of Calcutta.
