Chi-town



Our mini-CC reunion with Jenn and Rad in the Chicago Zoo.

 Marissa and I had a wonderful time in Chicago visiting our friends Rad and Jenn from the USC Catholic Center!! They were such wonderful hosts, and it was so great catching up with them and seeing where they have been living this past year.

It was rainy, but we had a great time performing with our reflections in the Bean.

During our time in Chicago, they brought us all around the city all by public transportation. The trains and buses are really efficient there! Although it was a bit chilly (and of course I didn't pack any long sleeves), we had a great time walking through the FREE Chicago zoo and Michigan Ave. We then met up with Molly Kiick for some pizza! I had such a great time catching up with my fellow Helene also. Despite the rain, we all headed over to the Bean for some great pictures and videos... then over to the Jazz Fest where we met Rad's roommates! We finished the night with lots of cereal and Fever Pitch to complement our several references to Jimmy Fallon this weekend.

On Sunday, Jenn took us to mass at her Church, St. Clement. Then I finally got to see Rad's place, after many skype sessions of seeing only the notable wall of art work! His roommates Sam and Julie Ann made us some AWESOME pancakes and then we added to the wall of portraits by drawing each other... Jenn and Rad then escorted us all the way to O'Hare Airport were we headed off to Europe!
